Blue Air Stop Hamburg

But Add Larnaca.

Following the announcement by  Romanian airline Blue Air to open it’s 8th european base at LJLA, it will subsequently stop services to Hamburg in June. We await the airlines decision to add another service elsewhere, but in the meantime the Larnaca services will start in June as planned.

Airports Policy Statement.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) has welcomed the publication of the Government’s draft Airports National Policy Statement which recognises the importance of a link from Liverpool to an expanded Heathrow Airport.

Andrew Cornish to Leave

It has been announced that Andrew Cornish, the CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport is to leave his post at the end of June. Andrew has brought about significant change to the airport including improving many of the passenger facilities. On behalf of FOLA, we wish him well.
