General Freight:

TNT have a large new warehouse distribution facility adjoining the airport and operate a nightly service linking into their European hub at Liege in Belgium. DHL also carry parcels on smaller aircraft.

The airport's 24 hour operation makes it ideal for freight services to operate outside of the peak daytime hours and has spare capacity available for new freight companies.

A night service to Liege, Belgium is operated by an Atlantic Airlines Electra on behalf of TNT (DG)

Motor Parts:

With the Jaguar Halewood plant only a mile away and Vauxhall just across the River Mersey at Ellesmere Port, the Airport sees, from time to time, charters to and from these companies' European plants.

Ground Handling Agents:

All freight ground handling is undertaken Penauille Servisair who is also responsible for the operation of the customs warehouse.
