Resident Aircraft and General Aviation
THE GENERAL AVIATION HANGARS AND APRON HAVE THEIR OWN DEDICATED ENTRANCE. THIS IS LOCATED OFF DUNGEON LANE AT THE EASTERN (HALE VILLAGE) END OF THE RUNWAY. APPROACHING THE MAIN TERMINAL DOWN SPEKE HALL AVENUE, TURN LEFT ABOUT 200 YARDS BEFORE THE FINAL ROUNDABOUT. THIS IS DUNLOP ROAD WHICH THEN BECOMES HALE ROAD. KEEPING THE AIRPORT PERIMETER FENCE ON THE RIGHT PROCEED DOWN TO THE END OF THIS FENCING, TURN RIGHT INTO DUNGEON LANE AND RIGHT AGAIN INTO THE GENERAL AVIATION COMPOUND.

Ground Handling:
General aviation is handled by Liverpool Aviation Services (LAS), a subsidiary of Ravenair, telephone 0151 486 6161 or 0800 328 2680. See also below.

Ravenair:
This company specialises in pilot training, freight and passenger charters, aerial photography and surveys, aircraft engineering, sales/purchases, consultancy and the ground handling of visiting business aviation. Ravenair and their subsidiary company, Liverpool Aviation Services Ltd (LAS), have recently invested heavily on new buildings comprising hangarage, VIP and crew lounges, conference facilities and offices (see photograph below). A second hangar for the flying school has also been constructed that will separate it from the other activities. (0151 486 6161 or Freephone 0800 328 2680).

Keenair:
Liverpool Airport's longest established resident company have hangarage and maintenance facilities as well as owning several aircraft including veteran examples. Various facilities (e.g. the operations and briefing room, self catering) of sister company, Liverpool Flying School (see below) are available for Keenair customers. Telephone: 0151 486 6181.

Helicentre:
Several helicopters are based here and are used for flying training and charter work. (Tel: 0151 448 0388)

Small Aircraft:
About 60 small aircraft are resident (in addition to those mentioned above) and they have moved to a new dedicated general aviation apron at the eastern end of the airfield. These aircraft are a mixture of privately owned (individual and consortia), local companies, and the following flying schools and taxi companies:-
