* Jetstream Aviation Fair - Sunday 19th July 2009

The Fair will follow the same format as previous years, with an indoor trade fair and Art Exhibition and various displays on the apron. Start time is 1100 finishing at 1700.

As in previous years entry will be £5 per car or £2 per person if arriving on foot.

Parking will be signposted on the day. *

To help celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of Liverpool Airport the Friends of Liverpool Airport (FoLA) and The Jetstream Club jointly organised a special celebration day on Sunday 29 June 2008.

The old airport bus, recently renovated to a high standard, makes a welcome return to the airport. (MM).

Football Charters:

Both Liverpool and Everton regularly appear in European competitions. The charter flights out for our teams and those of their opponents inbound for their away legs generate valuable income for the airport. Occasionally, other league clubs including Tranmere Rovers and some of the Lancashire clubs, and their opponents, also use the airport. Clubs also use air travel for pre-season friendly matches and for some of the longer distance League matches.

The flights also produce some interesting aircraft for enthusiasts to view.
