Taxi: A taxi rank is situated immediately outside the front door of the Arrivals area of the terminal building. There is an office inside the terminal building on Level 1 that will assist passengers with their onward travel arrangements using the black hackney vehicles. This is operated by Passenger Transport Solutions and their
telephone number is 0151 907 1185.
Express Coaches:
Arriva "Airlink" Express Coach Service No: 500 (Airport to Liverpool City Centre and vice versa):
The 500 Express Coach service to Liverpool city centre awaits departure from outside the terminal (MM)
An express coach service connecting the airport with the city centre, serving the main hotels,
railway, coach and bus stations operates every 30 minutes.
The stops are shown in the timetable and on the coach.
The driver will advise passengers of their most suitable stop, if required. Euros are accepted. Pay the driver on entry or
book online by selecting the National Express website from our Links page.
Enter From: "Liverpool Airport" and To: "Liverpool" or vice versa, as appropriate, and the dates of travel. Then follow the instructions.
500 bus service operates a 30 min frequency with first bus from Liverpool Airport at 06.45 (07.20 x Lime Street)
until last bus Leaves Liverpool Airport at 23.45 (00.15 x Lime Street)
Journeys operate via the Estuary Commerce Park on Mondays to Fridays only until early evening.

National Express New Coach Service 280
To Serve: Leeds,Bradford,Oldham, Manchester City Centre, Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Liverpool Norton Street and Birkenhead.
The service started 5 December 2011.
10 per day in each direction including early enough for first wave departures. ( 5 times a day to Oldham in each direction) Also possible to link with other services at Liverpool Norton Street Coach Station.

Terravision Express Coach Link from the Airport to Manchester and vice versa:
This express coach service operates between the airport and Manchester Shudehill Interchange and vice versa.
From the airport the first service is at 0800 and the last departing at 0540. From Manchester the first service is at 0330 and the last departure is at 2200. Journey time is approximately one hour and timings largely coincide with peak arrival and departure times of the major airlines. There are a total of 26 services operating each day. Fare is £5.50 adult and £3 child. Euros are accepted. An intermediate stop will be made at Sackville Street (Manchester) in both directions. Further information and online booking can be obtained from their website which can be accessed from our Links page. A Terravision Travel Advisor is on duty most of the time and can be usually found outside at the bus stands or, if not, at one of the Terravision kiosks which are located near the Arrivals area and at the Check-in Hall inside the Terminal Building. Tickets can also be purchased from Terravision representatives in the Check-in Areas at some of the European airports serving Liverpool by Ryanair.

this is a normal stage carriage service through to Liverpool City Centre. En route it serves the Estuary Commerce Park,
New Mersey Retail Park, Liverpool South Parkway (rail interchange).

MERSEYTRAVEL JOBLINK - this minibus provides an hourly service to major places of employment from early morning (4.30am) to late at night (10.30pm). They are particularly useful for shift workers. Ring Traveline Merseyside on 0870 608 2608 for further information. At present the service routes as follows:
883 Airport - Estuary Business Park - Jaguar - Halewood - Belle Vale - Huyton - Huyton Industrial Estate (and in the reverse direction)
Rail:

The interchange offers the following services:
- Merseyrail Northern Line: Hunts Cross via the city centre to Southport every
15 minutes and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Operated by Merseyrail
Electrics.
- Merseyrail City line: Liverpool Lime Street to Warrington and Manchester Oxford Road every 30 minutes weekdays, hourly evenings and Sundays. Operated by Northern Rail.
- Liverpool Lime Street to Birmingham New Street half-hourly on Monday to Saturday, calling at intermediate stations including Runcorn, Crewe, Stafford and Wolverhampton. Operated by London Midland Trains.
- Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Peterborough and Norwich. An hourly service, some of which will require one or more changes at intermediate stops. Operated by East Midlands Trains.
- Transpennine Express Liverpool Lime Street to Warrington, Manchester, Huddersfield,
Leeds and York along with other stations in N E England will call at Liverpool South Parkway.
Hourly service in each direction.
- This brings total of 10 per hour trains to Liverpool City Centre from Liverpool South Parkway (M-Sat, slightly less on Sundays).
- The West Coast main line to London can be accessed from either Liverpool Lime Street or Runcorn.
- If rail tickets are booked through to "Liverpool John Lennon Airport" or by specifying a "Plus Bus" ticket the fare will include the bus link to and from the airport. Rail tickets departing from Liverpool South Parkway can be bought at ticket machines close to the airport's Information Desk but this does not include the bus link.

1. Hotels at or near the airport: One mile from the airport is the Crowne Plaza Liverpool - John Lennon Airport. This hotel also offers park and stay packages with a complimentary airport-hotel (and vice versa) transfer service. Telephone: 0151 494 5000 or Central Reservations on 0871 423 4876.

A hotel directly opposite the airport terminal building opened in 2009. This is "Hampton by Hilton".
A "Premier Inn" is adjacent to Speke Hall Avenue, close to the airport. This is now fully open 2010. Check our links page under Local Hotels for more detailed information.
